Lucifer
How long is a piece of string? My tank in my Super street car is 5L @ 50 /50 and it lasts 1000-2000 miles dependant how I drive and the jet I use.
JamieP
Roughly how long would 5L last on a 50/50 mix which is only active say above .8bar. Just trying to figure how big my water/meth tank should be depends on jet size i think
Wez
This could be used for shutting down when the level drops :- http://www.enginerunup.com/parts/low-level-sensor-float-switch/prod_11.php

JamieP
We are stocking this now. £25 per 5 L. how much would 10L delivered be? regards jamie
Wez
I just got this from http://www.aquamist.co.uk/cp/sys1/sys1a.html Jet sizes from 0.5mm to 1.0mm are available in 0.1mm increments. 0.5mm size is supplied with the standard kit, but alternative sizes can be supplied on request. Thread size of the jet is M8x0.75mm
JohnA
Before you err on the low or high side of jet sizes, best check here because there are gotchas. It's easy to verify the delivery rate yourself, in fact it's best to do it instead of trusting manufacturers' figures. They can be way off. Wez
I will use the one that comes with it and then increase if I feel the need too, just looking for a decent sized tank now to mount where the back seats should be

The stock washer bottle is convenient, as long as you don't mind using the same mix on the windscreen. I'm used to refilling it after every hard run, so it's not a problem. You're not likely to use more than 0.5 - 1.0 litre of mix in a single go. 3 minutes (added together) of full throttle is quite a bit. Wez
If you get rid of the carbon canister, that is the best possible location I can think of. I was thinking that but means I will have to move some stuff about as my AEM AFR and HKS DLI units are there at the moment. I was also thinking about mounting the pump in that area as well Where is a good place to get a nice tank then?
JohnA
The tank is ideally not far from the pump, and not below it. The aquamist pump is not good at sucking. You may need a priming pump if it takes much effort to pull the water in.
