ttc + hks evc 4

Hi, I have a quick question. I have recently bought a TT and whilst checking it over the other night for the mot on monday I have discovered that it has been converted to ttc. The car also has a hks evc mk4 valve controller fitted, I vaguely remember reading somewhere these dont like to run with sequential turbo's?

The previous owner was unaware of this modification, the car runs extremely well as it is but I kind of think I would like to swap it back to sequential.

Any suggestions, swap it back & risk messing it up or just keep driving it as is?

I dont think its just the HKS controller, I have got prob with my Greddy Profec, im running sequential tubs, and it seems to only want to control the first one. Was advised to do a TTC and see if it worked any better. I would stick with the TTC.

Which GReddy Profec do you have James? It should work, are you sure it is connected up correctly?

I use to have the EVC IV on mine in sequential mode and it worked fine. It was a few years ago, but vaguely remember I had to set it up manually, rather than use the learning mode.

There are set up instructions here if you need them.

Gonna be doing this soon to my 93 JDM TT. Can you give me setup info for the HKS EVC 5 Nic and maybe a little tutorial on how to install it?
