Robert
i tried lancaster for my aristo ad ive got 2 years no claims and had experience driving a 3.0L cars (two supras) but still they said something like 4k just for the aristo on 3rd party and they put me through to their sister company and they were useless aswell. I went with adrian flux in the end.

jazz1
dam the only option i have now is i asked my brother and he said he can get me an extra 2 years no claims for 300 odd pounds, suppose then having 3 years no claims might make a big difference:search:

Robert
yeah jazz James is correct, mate of mine got "3 years NCB" off his mate and when he had an accident the insurance he thought he had disappeared and he was left with the repair cost to both cars. DShox
have to hammer the earlier point home - you can blag your proposal form but it all 'hits the fan' when you make a claim. anti-fraud databases for motor insurance were set up in the late 90s and are now very advanced. your age is gonna be a problem on a Twin Turbo - I wouldnt be surprised if you had to be 25+ before you can insurance on a group 20 due to lack of driving experience. try http://www.hyperformance.com - see if they quote any different. Tom
Jazz, when you try elephant, put your parents as 2nd and 3rd drivers, brings it down by hundereds
jazz1
serious? the thing is my dad only has one years no claims as hes been driving his car on his trade insurance which doesnt build no claims for him:search:
EddyS
I've just bought my Dads JSpec TT off him, i'm 21 on the 23rd April, my insurance will be £1450 fully comp, that's with 2 years NCB with Elephant, but they wont insure me until i'm 21. So it's sat on the drive waiting... I also tried Sky, who would insure me straight away for £1800 fully comp, but i couldnt justify spending another £350 for 3 weeks driving. Agreed that adding parents, especially women, brings it down by £100's. I also declared the mods (wheels and exhaust)
Tom
Doesn't matter jazz, they seem to bring it down loads for having someone else on the isnurance, especially if they are much older, do both trust me!

lockys96
dont do elephant/admiral/bell. you can have 6 mods no more, plus the dont replace these mods if you crash. bet they still insure you car as a wrong model service is crap, good luck getting good money if you right it off
