gaz1
well you should boost to 0.9 with the catts in you must have a restrictor ring made to 0.9 then

gaz1
dont need boost controller if restrictor ring is fitted if he has,nt it would hit fuel cut, jspec yeah
ManwithSupra
If i want to increase the boost do i still need to have the restrictor ring in and get a boost controller or do i need to remove it. Also when i increase to 1.2 bar will i need to get the ECU remapped
tbourner
Replace the restrictor ring with a 1.2 bar ring, get a FCD, don't get a boost controller, get some NGK BCPR7ES plugs and a Walbro pump.

gaz1
me personaly bpu i would go to 1.1bar with a restrictor ring save on the boost controller 1.2 on ceramic turbos is risky but people do but should,nt need remapping

DamanC
TRL do a cracking one that raises your boost cut rather than removing it completely

gaz1
most of the traders on here will have what you want, or place an add in the wanted section, mmm think i may have a fcd kicking about but i would be suprised if you didnt have one fitted already as your catts are out, read the faq section or searh bpu every thing you need to know is there
ManwithSupra
How Would i tell if it had a FCD. When i was repalcing a fuse the other day i noticed a small switch on a lead down where the fuse box was on the drivers side of the car. Now i dont know what this does would this be a switch for a FCD i know its a shot in the dark but hey. If i needed to find out if it had one where most likely would i look? Supra-Dupra
me personaly bpu i would go to 1.1bar with a restrictor ring save on the boost controller 1.2 on ceramic turbos is risky but people do but should,nt need remapping Boost controller allows you run 1bar daily with the option to high mode for 1.2, safer again I would have thought !
