paul_y3k
ok I'm looking for a definitive place to get hold of a set of workshop manulas for the sup. I've done a search on the bbs, and most of the posts start of promising and then seem to die a death with much takl of producing pdf versions etc etc. So is there any definitive way to get hold of a set of workshop manuls ? cheers Paul

darren j adams
Hi paul. You can still get them. http://www.toyotaworld.com. They do sell them ive just got two sets yesterday but it has taken about 2-3 months. Cost it looks like being about £220-£250 each set, waiting for customs bill. I got 93 engine,chassis,eleectrics+96 engine, chassis, electrics. They are great chunky well made books. We rang them in the afternoon and ordered over the phone it does not work by internet. Also i think you need amex. I think his name was scott. Darren.

darren j adams
Uk and usa i think are the same spec. jap and uk are almost the same.(should i say this) The important stuff is the same, settings strip downs, tourque settings, service your blind without it. As you said you have the last proper copy so what choice do we have. They are well worth it. Anyone near me is welcome to see them and decide to buy or not. Or i can show you at the hatfield meet on the 7th. Darren.

I run a print and hi volume copying company. If someone could explain how the manuals are currently bound, it is almost certain that I could "destroy" them, copy them and rebind them to (almost) perfection. Let me know. Its the same format as a yellow pages, if you could copy it I would be most impressed, as loads of people on here want a copy and if viable I will dregde up the original thread on this and go forward with it. That is what is known as "perfect binding". I am sure we can guilotine (sp) the end to release the pages then copy them all and rebind the original manual as a perfect bind. I will send the images onto my production guys tonight and ask their opinion. CJ
Elliot
That is one chunky book! I'd probably be interested in one (not sure why, my Nan probably knows more about cars than me!)
cg084
I know i would be very interested in a manual as long as the price is right for a copy. But do those lovely manuals cover the Non Turbo??? Craig.

CJ
I am waiting to get a definitive answer from my guys on viability and cost. The problem I have is that it is the busiest time of the year for us and also the end of the month so my requests get pushed behind the paying customers!
