supra steveo
an engineer will be coming to look at the car today from norwich union and say yes to work going ahead, as for parts i phoned the parts fella, Steve Manley to get some prices before the car goes in and he quoted me £118 for a facelift front wing does this sound about right? looks abit on the cheap side to me, Bomex skirts, envy said they can get them in in a week and Knight racer said they will be in stock at the start of the week, just hope i get a set that are a good fit just to remind you what state my car is in heres a few pics
colsoop
Good news, that price is very good, Steve manley knows his stuff. What are you going to do about the other side though as facelift wings don't have the indicator mounting hole, it is mounted on the front bumper instead. supra steveo
probibly have it flushed or buy the other side, the bloke in the garage is alright and even said he would do both sides when he came to look at the car to give me an estimate he said it was no problemand that he would put the facelifts in the front bumper too
colsoop
I think that would look nice, the facelift wings give the car a cleaner look, i know it is only the side repeater that is removed it just looks cleaner. Good luck post up some pics when done.
Suprash
You know that no side indicators though is fail-able on the MOT, I have to keep connecting some cheapo Halthrauds set on each year.....

Same here, PITA isn't it? I keep putting mine away afterwards and then losing them the next year and having to buy another set. Halfords don't do the cheapo LED ones any more either, had a real job getting some in time last year...

Jake
Steve Manley quoted me £118 for a facelift front wing does this sound about right? looks abit on the cheap side to meSounds about right. He charged me £122.58 for a pre-facelift wing a while back. It was a genuine Toyota part

Suprash
If they have had their standard front bumper replaced, yeah........as there is no where to mount the side indicators that normally sit on the side at the front......
supra steveo
he would put the facelifts in the front bumper too i did say that he was putting the facelift sides in
