Only owned it about a month, but selling as i need a commuter bike. this is not a commuter or maybe i'm not hardcore enough to ride it everyday!

Loads of torque, fast, clean and very loud. the backfires on over-run are insane. Great for wheelies and other hooligan behaviour, not great for constant motorway use.

7000 miles

12 Months Tax

MOT July

Scorpion race exhaust (loud as feck) and matching re-jet

New diablo rear tyre

low race seat

custom sticker set

custom indicators front and rear.

race rear fender with custom brakelight

lots of spares (currenly selling some on fleabay so be quick if you want the lot)

full set of body panels in red

stock seat

CDI Unit

Rear fender and light cluster

spare set of tyres (stock ones)

spare front and rear sprockets

stock exhaust (for MOTs)

£3500

please email [email protected] with any querys. Bike is also on fleabay and visordown.

Thanks

Jamie

  • 2 months later...

well i bought the KTM to ride about on while my Ducati 748 was rebuilt after a bottom end failiure. I've got the 748 back now so the KTM had to go. i think after the summer the 748 will go too. not sure what i'll get yet... but i'm feelin' the 06 fireblade.

I am after one of these KTMs!! Damn missed out on this...

I had a 748 before I chopped it in last year for a K5 GSXR 1000. Best thing I ever did. I have since rode a 06 blade, and the Gixxer is the better bike, definately. Better gearbox, better rideability, and sounds way better too. Im a little bias, but check out the Superbike review of the big four. Gixxer comes out on top again.

Having said all that, if you can wait till next year, when the new R1 will come out (which if anything like the new R6 will be awesome), as well as the new K7 Gixxer (which is sure to be amazing)...

Just my thoughts...

Whatever bike you get it will be awesome..

Here you go Rob....

It was a Shakey Burne Monster Mob Ducati Rep. Sprayed up and signed by the man himself. Absolutely dolled up to the nines with carbon everywhere and full MV rear tail unit (although the image here shows the bip unit - hand stitched)...

Shame the bloody thing had to go! (as with all the Dukes I had, they are totally unreliable)....

i do like the gixxer, and i agree, with a decent can on they sound angry as feck. sounds like they are ripping a hole space and time behind them as they go. never been on one though - so will have to wait and see.

My 748 isn't that fancy. just a stock 748E aside from some fruity cans.

Now i've had the ducati i can't live without torque. i rode a gsxr600 and spent all my time waiting for it to go.

I work for Honda so the fireblade comes with pretty good discount, not a yamaha man so thats out.

how about this? the new Ducati 1200...savage... where's my cheque book?!?
