Hey,

Im from Sydney Aus, and im running a VVTi, hoping to single soon with the EMU. Joined this forum because I heard a few of yas in the UK have already gone this route.

My mechanic said that anything above 600cc, and the Emanage is fudging A/Fs and running stupid rich. Has anyone here encountered this problem?

It will cope with over 600cc injectors.

My old VVT-i T61 eManaged 650cc'd Supra ran fine afr's I did have an issue I could never resolve with restarting but that was with an EMBlue. The EMU has cold start tables and would I'm sure have been able to fix the issues I faced.

There is a known issue with the EMU and the 2JZ, but it's fixed with the secondary injector harness from GReddy. This was launched a few months back because people found they couldn't get the EMU to control the fueling on the 2JZ properly. If you don't have this part it could well fall over with 600's and above.

Speak to Nic Vollans on here (and your BBS) he can get the additional harness for the right price. ;)

Alright thats good news.

Might go for the EMU afterall. It worries me everytime my mechanic is wrong on something, but this board and the internet is kind of the most up to date Supra knowledgebase anyways.

Thanks Guys.

AVCR and Catback now.

600x300x80 FMIC and EMU in 2 weeks.

Then gonna decide on a J-Spec Rebuilt, US-Spec or small 35/40 single afterwards. All in due time :p

Sooti, if you need a cheap source for any of the parts you want, just let me know, I live in Hong Kong and have my own Japanese branded and Toyota parts export business here. Postage to Aus from here is quite reasonable.

Either PM me or contact me at the email address in my sig, if I can help with anything.
