SuperSupra
yeah, totally original replica! what a scam advert, its blatantly not original (MPFI on the engine and an R reg to boot) I noticed the 'R' reg thing too, how weird. Surely that's '96 or '97? Did they think no-one would notice?
Jspec Germany
F*cking Fake! If it were real, it would have a production number attached. Believe me. I've seen the real thing for sale in Texas.

RobSheffield
seems that Ac cars started producion back up in the late 90's so it is original, and it is real, but its not worth as much as an original 60s AC cobra
SuperSupra
look at post eight Er, you've lost me mate. I read through that but it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know! *AHEM* Hmmm, seems I was being a retard, 'R' reg was 1998! God it's been a long week...... Tricky-Ricky
Yeah the rare ones are the Shelby Cobras and they are all signed by Carol Shelby!
Homer
IIRC: AC cars is a British company which restarted production of the "Cobra" in the mid 90's. The 'famous' one is the Shelby AC Cobra produced by Carrol Shelby in the states during the 60's. The story goes that he came up with the concept after visiting AC, he was one ofthe first to match a British lightweight chassis with a huge V8 muscle car engine (427 CJ, CJ stands for Cobra Jet, which is where the AC 'Cobra' gets its name). This car is a genuine AC car, but to call it an "AC Cobra" is a little misleading.
RobSheffield
Homer is mostly correct, although the cobra was always the cobra even by AC, all Carrol Shelby did (well, when i say all i mean, it was a big thing to do im sure!) was shoehorn in the early 427ci V8s
cleland
I once met Carrol Shelby, at the 1994 Gatornationals, in florida. He came into the Mac Tools tower, to see the driver of the elanor drag car. Very nice guy. The original elanor car was also on display, i must have spent an hour looking at it.
