Pete
IN excellent condition, very high quality product for both normal and vvti supras (Terry says it works on vvti, thats good enuff for me), ..but of course the harness would be different for VVTi. SupraHuman
MAP-ECU's are top notch, got one myself.PHR is no longer the US dealer for them tho but you'll still find fuel maps and FAQ's on their website.Or you can go to: http://www.mapecu.co.nz/v2.2-fuelmap.htm. They are after all made in New Zealand.
Robert
are they easy to map?
SupraHuman
are they easy to map? They are not to bad mate, pretty straigt forward although mapping on a rolling road is the safest way to do it.The menus are sound and to add/reduce the fuel simply use your page up/down buttons and arrow keys. Pro mapping highly recommended tho.
veilsideTT
Agree with superhuman, Get it mapped on the rollers first. After you understand the system more and can possibly get a wideband, you can tinkle with the fuel here and there yourself if needs be. TBH, i got mine done by Pete betts at Thor and i haven't had to touch the maps since. Although i recommend you get a wideband in the car so you can always keep an eye on your A/R's Ive hooked my MAP ECU up to my Innovate wideband, i can log the A/R's against the RPM through the MAP ECU Software on my laptop. Then adjust fueling for lean/rich spots Scott

Pete
MVP have a special price at the mo which is roughly 228.75 + Duty and VAT roughly 300 - plus delivery. Harness obviously bumps this up a fair bit..-edit a LOT! ($325.00) - So total about 535 plus del...hmm, makes yours look a much better buy than I though after first impressions. Perhaps try when their special is finished?
Chiefgroover
I Paid Obiwan a load more for this then than the current specials. So they are on special now? 288.75 plus 185.20 for the harness = £473.95 plus insured delivery approx £30 plus 10% tax and 17.5% vat is approx £651.95. So mine on next day after payment delivery at an offer near to £450 is still good! Tech support? pretty much non existant, just as well as you probably wont need it. You added $60 there and you shouldn't pay duty and vat on postage. Either way, you're right though - you have a plug and play system at a good price compared to new with no hassle of stateside dealing.

Chiefgroover
The traders on here I have dealt with (most of them) add VAT after the delivery cost is added. Vat goes last on their invoices.

Pete
i been charged vat on postage costs from america. i did not think they could do that Depends how they invoice it. It's the same with cars brought across - you should pay duty/vat on the shipping as it's not something you're bringing into the country.
