the_host
Ok Guys, ive searched through the forums and i've sort of got an idea on what i need for my BPU. 1) Taking out both cats so i'm going for a 3" straight through one piece exhaust system (from turbos) 2) Walbro GSS342 fuel pump 3) Thor FCD 4) Colder Plugs 5) restrictor ring I do not really want to fit a restrictor ring so is there a boost controller out there that allows you to lower the boost?? As it might be awkward to put in a ring with the straight through one piece system. Thanks
RobSheffield
no, boost controllers only raise boost, you need a ring this is assuming you are j spec

I would advise fitting 2 piece cat replacement pipes, instead of a single pipe, as this will allow you to easily put the 2nd cat back in place come MOT time, so you can get through the emissions test. Member Chris Wilson can supply these if needed. Also you should fit a boost gauge (so you can monitor things), if not fitted already.

Its a j-spec 93, so MOT time i won't need the cat back in .... there's already a boost gauge on there... so saved some money there:eyebrows:
