BURT
As most of you are aware i bought myself a trial bumper to complement all the other mods on the supe..... after all the work and mapping was finished i took my pride and joy to the bluewater meet last tues to show off a bit... Well things took sad turn for the worst.... on the way to the cruise i was doing a high speed run and:bang: all of a sudden a loud scraping noise appeared from the rear.. i instanly pulled over and to my horror i found that my now not so shiny trail bumper had split along the diffuser and cracked the side too...and was now weakend and scraping on the road. After looking at it closely it was obvious that the pressure caused by the top speed run had made the diffuser section split under pressure.. The next day i contacted Paul E and told him of this and he was suprisingly accomodating, he said that if i could take the bumper off he would have it collected so he could determin where the fault was and so make sure that all the other bumpers sold from now on were modified and strengthend to avoid this in the future and will give me a full refund. So A big thanks and thumbs up for Paul E for standing by the Quality of his product, we have all heard the odd rumour about Miami-gt but after this i can only praise him for his profesional standards and product guarantee. So now my car is back in the bodyshop being put back to std with some flushed in spats as despite the trial bumpers now being modified i dont have the time to wait as my car is going to Bolney for the club stand and also have also been invited by a dutch magazine to put my car on show Holland at the end of April. So now for all you peeps who are thinking of buying one of these bumpers can do so, Knowing that mine has been used as a guinee pig so to speek. Will post up the new pics as soon as i get her back from the bodyshop

Gazboy
What sort of areo testing does Trial do for it's bodykits?
BURT
good question fella... not sure that they do any testing... But surley you cant desighn a product for a supercar that wont hold up to high speed runs. and besides that it was a copy from Paul so his one wouldnt have been tested i doubt. I hope Trial (or any other body modders) would test their products on a car that can top 165mph straight from the crate. I take it Paul's copy is a 'carbon' copy- so Trials results could be carried over to Paul's?????

zap
Is Paul E going to pay for the standard bumper refit as well ?. I must admit the trial one did look a bit thin in places, perhaps not quite enough fibre glass !. It stayed on the car ok just could not hold together under pressure.
