Guest electricmini

My chequered car-owning history goes like this:

1976 Mini automatic (awww, my first car! long gone now, sniff..)

1985 Mini

Metro ( ugh God, what a horrid car. Only good for ripping the 1275 engine

out of and putting it into a Mini :eyebrows:)

1990 Mini Cooper (never ran right)

1993 Mini Mayfair (nice, but boring)

Volvo 440 (heated seats!)

1992 Mini Cooper S Grand Prix (still got this! - full black leather, huge Webasto sunroof)

Saab 9000 (comfy, but worse mpg than a Supra!)

2000 Smart car (600cc cheap to run, but terrible turbo lag)

1973 Mini pickup, converted to electric (yes, really! Still got this)

1990 Mk3 Supra Turbo auto (nice, but a bit beat-up)

2004 Smart Brabus (nice, but still an expensive bag of shite. Has needed warranty repairs

7 times already in just 18 months I should have spent the cash on a Mk4...)

1991 Mk3 Supra NA auto rustbucket (was desperate for some fun last summer!)

1992 Mk3 Supra Turbo manual, with NO rust & full black leather :p

I still have the Mini Cooper S, the electric Mini pickup, the unreliable bag-of-shite Smartie

and the old warhorse Mk3 Supe (bloody brilliant car)

Next on the list is a Mk4.....in black, with leather and auto 'box.:D

  • 1 month later...

Im only 19, but ive had quite a few cars

Heres my list:

2001 Megane Coupe - First car, only had it for a month or so, didnt get along too well with it!

2001 Fiesta Zetec S - cams, manifold, Coilovers exhaust and unichip. - Loved this car to bits, at the time it felt really fast aswell!

2002 Fiesta Zetec S - Was completly standard, just had it for a while

2001 Yaris T Sport - absolutly hated this car! Felt tooo cheap and wasnt sporty at all!

2002 Fiesta Zetec S - With turbo conversion, and lots done - I still miss this car, i made it, did everything to it apart from the turbo conversion!

2000 MR2 Roadster - An awesome little car, only let down was it was a bit too slow

2002 Clio 172 with cup packs - Very very good car, cant fault the speed and handling of it, just the seating postion and interior rattles let it down.

2002 Celica T Sport - Proberly the best car ive owned, birlliant car to drive, looks awesome, lively engine, brakes were the only let down i thought.

1995 Uk Manual Supra Twin Turbo - Still getting use to it, but damn! what an awesome car, the speed is just mental! I'll get some pics soon!,Always wanted a Supra and now that i can insure one, it was only right to buy one :)

Signal Yellow Mini 1.3 - even had a turbo kit ready for it but it got sold as I needed the money.

Ford Fiesta 1.0 - old and crap but it got me from A-B...until the engine died.

Austin Metro 1.1 (I think) - not quite as old, even worse, but it got me from A-B... until the gearbox died... then the engine.

Vauxhall Chevette 1.3 - Fantastically cool car (well I thought so) had it all throughout Uni, everyone called it the sweeny car. Was absolutely mint when I got it, only around 40k miles when I bought it I think. Never had any major problems with it either. RWD fun too :)

Peugeot 405 Mi16 - Nice car, I had big plans for it. Threw a rod, sold it.

Peugeot 405 SRI - Bought as an interim run around...

Supra! :D

I've not had many, since I used to ride bikes all the time. In fact, the Porsche was the first one I insured in my own name (the others were with live in g/f's) - if you want a laugh call insurance companies telling them you want to insure a Porsche 911 and you have no NCD........

Ford Escort (can't remember anything else about it)

Citroen 1.4 BX

MG Metro

Nissan 200SX

Toyota Supra TT

Peugot 306 GTI-6 (total shite)

Porsche 911 (still got it)
