This is the order of my ownership

1. Renault 12 – 17 years old and 3 years of squealing tires on every corner – fitted 8 passengers once…

2. MkI 3.0L Capri – 19 years old – GBP50/month insurance – drifting around Portsea roundabout…

3. Bedford van – beefed up 2.7L engine – customized with carpeting & sofa in the back – Ahhh!!! Clubbing in Southsea…

4. MkIV Cortina – badged 9.1L – gear knob used to come out in my hand…

5. Mini Clubman – GBP50 – drivers door welded shut…

6. MkI Viva – 1.3L automatic – So ssslllloooowww….

7. MkIII Cavalier – old…

8. VW Scirrocco – Nice door open and close noise…

9. Alfa Romeo Alfasud – Fantastic handling but electrics used to cut out, not fun in the rain or at night…

10. Triumph Herald – Gerald the Herald, it had personality….

11. Triumph TR6 – Mostest fun car and last before leaving the UK…

12. Suzuki – model ? but 600cc and easy parking…

13. Diahatsu Applause – First brand new car but f*****g boring…

14. Mazda 323 – adequate…

15. Nissan Pulsar – a heap…

16. MkIV Supra NA – Ahhh, proper motoring again and over 4 years TLC…

17. MkIV Supra TT – A nice beast, saw some trackwork but took a dislike to a roadside barrier – RIP…

18. Audi S4 – Comfortable family car…
