Can my Super Dragger be repaired?????

All,

 

Have a look at the photos and let me know if the pipe can be rewelded back onto the rear box.

I would be happy to keep the Dragger as I love the sound and the look of it.

 

If it cannot be repaired, I think I'm going to go with the Greddy Evo Exhaust.

 

Can someone answer a couple of questions for me please?

 

1) - How easy is it to change the Exhaust?

It looks quite easy from under the car, but what's the best way?

 

2) - If it's a pig, where would people recommend to do it in Essex, near to Billericay as possible?

jesus, how did that happen? anyways im sure it can be welded back together, but i would consider buying a new exhaust tbh mate.

also its quite simple to change your exhaust system, get it up on some axel stands and it should be fairly simple, or just take it down to somewhere like quickfit they should fit it for you.

I have a good metal guy in chiswick that could fix that easily.. You would have to remove the whole unit though..

 

Also a metal polisher around the corner that could bring that back box up to a nice shine again!

Id loose the HKS altogether and go for the Greddy full stainless jobbie.! Will last longer and still sound great..!

I could weld it back on mate but you would have to get it up to yorkshire. I would do free of course.

HKS Supperdraggers are a bag`o`shite IMO.

 

I had one on mine, they cost a fortune and are mild steel from the box back so just rust through at the weld points. I had mine repaired a couple of times then gave it up as a bad job as it just keeps on going. The only way to save the box is to get the back pipe fabricated out of stainless steel, although if your like me you will just give up on the shitty old thing and go for a full stainless system.

 

HKS.....what a rip off!
