electric fan

You can, but there's not much point. The viscous fan is very efficient and moves a lot of air. You'll be lucky to find an electric fan that will match it and if you do it will put a load on the alternator and hence the engine equivalent to the load the viscous fan does. The only reason for doing it would be to clear some room at the front of the engine bay or because your stock one has failed.

hmm thats a good point! i would of thought the viscous would of taken more power then a electric one but yer it is a lot to do with very little gain! i was going to put a twin fan on poss from a gs300? would of thought thay share the same rad! plus this would relocate the expanction bottle for when i get a front mount
