With the extra injector harness you can *add* (and their documentation is clear on this) extra fuel to the stock map but if you want to *remove* fuel you need to 'trim' the airflow signal to do so, the injector harness map can't remove fuel. So if you have bigger injectors, and that's got to be a given surely, if you want an aftermarket ECU, you will be needing to trim the base map downwards via the airflow signal at non-high-boost loadings.

Ah yes, you're right, makes sense when you think about it I suppose since it taps into the injector wires rather than cuts them.

Using my voodoo powers, I have resurrected this thread from its recent death in order to ask some basic questions. Having read the whole thing, I was puzzled by this:

You can save up to 3 maps in the

E-01's memory card and rather easily switch between them. In theory,

you can have multiple memory cards and swap in different maps.

What might be the nature of these different maps and why might one want to swap between them? Would it mean 'maps for different octane fuel' e.g. allowing more advance for race fuel in competitions? Or does it mean maps optimised for different ambient temperatures (summer and winter map). Or is it possible to have an 'economy' map and a 'performance' map? I'm hoping it's this last; the idea warms my skinflint heart.
