Robert
not really on a jap spec, a restrictor ring will keep it from going over 1.1/1.2bar

Markie
Wont you need a FCD? Also Boost controller to up boost past stock. May want fueling checked also to see its not running lean on the new boost. Just wondering.
Robert
a decat on a jap spec will produce 1.2/1.3 bar without the need for a boost controller, a boost controller doesn't lower boost it raises it, but seen as the jap spec turbos cant go highier than 1.2 bar without being under some serious stress. You will however need a FCD to raise the fuel cut from 14psi.
Stonkin
How about some colder plugs?
Ian R
I would advise a boost gauge too. Need to be able to see how much it is boostin'
Chris Wilson
Colder plugs (and I do NOT recommend you cut corners and buy cheap copper ones...), a fuel cut eliminator, the Thor one is very good and reliable, and a restrictor ring. I'll do a good deal if bought as a package from me.

But you need to check boost anyway, if it goes over 12psi then it might have a boost controler installed or a leak from the hoses around the wastegate. Easy to replace.
