Aftermarket Towing Eye

I was just thinking about this today. If you go on a track day they always say you have to have one easily accesible or they'll just tie the rope on to whatever they can find to tow you out of the gravel trap if you get in there! Which would result in an expensive fibreglass tearing noise in my case I think. About time I got one sorted out.

Just a thought. M12 Nut welded to the chassis leg at the front. Small hole in the bumper filled with a rubber grommet. Then get an M12 eyebolt which screws in when needed. You could go M16 or M20 for more strength.

thats not a bad idea but i would be more worried about the strength of the weld more than the size of the bolt

yeah depends who is welding I guess. Not sure if they do a fixing that will go inside the chassis leg like a lindapter hollo-bolt
