Amazing grace Posted November 9, 2003 Share Posted November 9, 2003 PLEASE HELP!! cANT START CAR, HAVE BEEN CLEANING HER THIS EVENING NOW IN GARAGE BUT NOT BACK FAR ENOUGH TO CLOSE DOOR, I HAVE A LASER LINE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE AND ENGINE IMMOBILIZER. PUSSHED ALAARM OFF AND TRIED TO START CAR TO BACK HER UP AND IT SET OFF THE ALARM SO SWITCHED IT OFF AGAIN WENT THROUGH WHOLE PROCESS AGAIN, AGAIN DAMN ALARM WENT OFF ANYONE GOT AND ADVICE PLEASE!!!!!!!! Whitesupraboy2 Posted November 9, 2003 Share Posted November 9, 2003 Do you have the immobiliser overwrite key, i think thats what they call it! just try pushing that onto the 2 prongs before trying turn it on. Also turn to ignition status on, (wit doors shut) and alarm car and unalarm it, just dont move!! my laserline done this few weeks ago but just once. Phoned up the installer and he said was 99% a flat battery, fitted a new one and its been fine since BTW - there's a meet down the road in Guildford tomorrow (Monday) night, details in Gatherings section, about 30 supes going - pop along (if the car starts ) Cheers! Amazing grace Posted November 9, 2003 Author Share Posted November 9, 2003 Thank a lot Fellas, I paniced big time only had my supe 1 month, she has been as good as gold til this evening. It was my fault I turned her over or tried to too soon after I had taken off alarm I dont think I gave the system time to register that it had been turned off, just been out again unlocked her and gave her a go, she started first time phew!!!!! Thank god for that as I am no good at anything remotely techy, hoping I will learn a lot from you lot lol.
