jazz1
i was going to purchase some products from us for my car, after trying to pay for them through western union the total cost came to 680 but down here i can get the same products for 690. Also considering when the items arrive i will have to pay some tax:search: so either way you cant win when purchasing supra products as they are always expensive:(
SimonB
Simple anser to that is use a company that lets you can pay by credit card and has reasonable prices. I wouldn't touch Western Union with a bargepole. At worst use a direct bank transfer from your bank which will cost £9.
Alex
Bits are usually cheaper from the states if you order in bulk....ordering 1 bonnet is about the most expensive thing you can do cause it's size that costs when shipping.

terribleturner
Yeah Western Union are jokers. I was gonna buy a fuel kit from the US but he'd only take WU which hiked the price up more than i could get it for here.

paul mac
MVP are the guys to use, miles cheaper than anyone on this board, and their customer service is a quantum leap over the UK traders (sorry guys)
Gamer
If you have internet banking it is normally free Most UK banks do not allow international bank tansfers online, only domestic. You need to go down to your local branch to do this....

Gamer
and pay the £20 charge Indeed. Although there is the cheaper 'relay' transfer option, I believe it costs around £9-10 pounds.... Either way you look at it a bank transfer will be the cheapest option.

JohnA
What tranfers, Unions and bollox... If a company thousands of miles away does not accept credit cards, why would you want to do business with them? If they cannot convince the CC companies that they are manageable risks, I'd look elswhere. MVP is not a bad choice, bought from them myself. paul mac
If a company thousands of miles away does not accept credit cards, why would you want to do business with them? because my good man they are quite litterally hundreds and hundreds of £'s cheaper
carl0s
MVP are indeed great. I bought my RS*R GT2 and just recently my 18" Volk GT-AVs. Paid a bit with PayPal and loads on credit card
JohnA
because my good man they are quite litterally hundreds and hundreds of £'s cheaper So what are you gonna do if they take your money and run? Fly to the states, buy a gun and shoot them? At least with a credit card you can make a fuss and claim the money back if they play silly boogers. I've never had problems paying with CCs in the States and things tend to arrive more promptly compared to UK-based traders.
