Shift light install HELP

hi

 

can anyone help me install this shift light, please, pic attached

 

had it for months lying around in my garage.

 

3 wires to connect. the black is Earth, red and green + and - to connect to the ignition coil.

 

easy, only thing is i;m thick.

 

where's the ignition coil? pics with big arrows would help.

 

or should i dump it cos it's crap?
