tbourner
Thinking about a Yaris as my car when I sell the supe. What are they like? Other options include Micra, Civic, Jazz. Any other jap small cars that are good? Been offered this one in px for the supe as well: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/69856.htm Zoe likes it so I'm sure we'll end up getting it!!! That won't help my speed bump situation any!!! (middle park way speed bumps for anyone who knows leigh park).
edd_t
they yaris is cool. the dash is the nuts, you dont have to re-focus your eyes when looking at the speedo. very comfy if you dont mind sitting upright compared to laying down in the Supe
geoffvalenti
You won't be able to handle the power, Trev Been offered this one in px for the supe as well: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/69856.htm Zoe likes it so I'm sure we'll end up getting it!!! That won't help my speed bump situation any!!! (middle park way speed bumps for anyone who knows leigh park). Personally, if I had to choose, I've always preferred the car that looks like a dog but goes like stink, rather than the all show and no go, variety. At the end of the day, its your choice, it's just for my money, I think I'd be looking for an older quick car, rather than a (I hesitate to say, because I don't want to cause offence) chavved up newer one
tbourner
Yeah I said to Zoe I wouldn't want to look like a knob. But TBH that isn't a bad price looking at other T-sports - I could take off some of the kit (and the eyebrows!!!) and it'd be quite nice. I'm with you Geoff I'd love a streetsleeper. Old Granada with a 427 hemi or something!!

Ian W
had one as a hire car in Corfu.......quite nippy for a small car and doesn't handle too badly either. if you were set on a newer 'chavved up' motor then this would be the one to go for i reckon mate. Bobbeh
They've won best small car awards for years, so they're probably a good purchase. BWM use the same Toyota diesel engine in the mini... so if you were ultra economic focused

toyotasuprauk
I’ve been a passenger in a yaris the most basic model and didn’t think it was all that great. I wouldn’t but that chaved up one either. I know it has no street cred but the Micra is a really good car if you want a cheap around and I’m not joking either they are really good.
tbourner
I have a 94 Micra at the moment, and yes it is a really good car - apparently the newer K12 version isn't very good though and has major bugs!!
Nic
The Yaris is a great little car, they are really popular over here, they look great, are well put together and I can get you loads of after market parts for them http://www.trdparts.jp/english/list_vitz.html http://www.tomsracing.co.jp/e/comp/p050/index.html http://www.c-one.co.jp/C-ONEPARTS/matching_car.html
tbourner
They all look better than the gold one! I don't really want anything like that but with the lack of car interest at the moment I'd consider anything!
Gaz Walker
Yari's are great. That gold one, we supplied most of the parts on We've developed tons of parts for them. They handle like they are on rails, are reliable, fast, well built etc etc. A best buy would be an EP91 Starlet. They are just wicked... Kevin uses a one of these as his daily driver now. Gaz. RICHARDA
I've got both Yaris and Micra as second cars. The Yaris is far better by miles, it drives like a much bigger, better quality car than the Micra(mk2 '93). HTH
