roscodav
If I am about to spend £150 of ATF Type IV fluid to do a full transmission change then its worth asking the question. I know that I can get this from Lexus and Toyota (with a lot of explaining) is there any other places such as Parts centers etc that can supply this and save me a few £££? eyefi
considering its a once in ten years job, for what u may save i dont think it would b worth the hassle. u also risk some cheaper stuff damaging seals etc. the toyota stuff is expensive but it is good. bulk buying may b a good idea, see if anyone else is interested. roscodav
That was my very first attempt of power braking... went a bit too high on the revs and left 5 meters of rubber. Looked good on camera though

Rob
How come his RH wheel smokes up, sans LSD, but my LH wheel smokes up sans LSD? Hmm, answer that and stay fashionable?
Chris Wilson
Originally posted by Rob How come his RH wheel smokes up, sans LSD, but my LH wheel smokes up sans LSD? Hmm, answer that and stay fashionable? Given correct corner weights and simialr tyres on both sides, on equal grip tarmac both sides the RH reat will always spin due to torque reaction lifting this wheel and reducing the loading on the tyre. So either corner weights, tyre adhesion or road surface differences cam into play there.
