randy
Nick, I have a question for you! Is there a way to disable the Traction control/slip control unit on a VVTi? Like in our cars we just pull the fuse under the hood and its done. But according to a guy who has a VVTi he says by pulling the fuse it disables the ABS aswell! Is there a way around this? Guest Terry S
Originally posted by Nic Terry, I spoke to the owner of the Greddy dealer tonight and he said that the e-manage can be fitted to the VVTi Supra and that the e-manage can be set up to work with the MAF sensor. He told me they had already fitted them to a couple of cars here. cheers Thanks Nic that is a great help:thumbs: Looks like the E-Manage may be the way to go for the modifying VVTi guys then. For those of you that haven't seen it yet it is a piggyback which vastlyexpands on the S-AFC principal. You get 16x16 fuel load sites, and if you buy a seperate cable 16x16 ignition timing sites. Alterations can be made either by a lap top or you can buy a seperate e-01 boost controller that has a small screen with a remote, that when plugged into the e-manage allows alterations. I believe Thor are going to be offering supply/install/tuned packages on this in the near future. BTW, they work on the non VVTi Supras too. There is a US forum support the Supras with e-manage already.

Yep, you have to buy it though, it's $119 on that site in the USA, or they do bundles with the various harnesses etc:- E-manage + Support Tool + ignition & injector Harness = $452* (Save $28!) Looks like they do bundles with the Profec boost controller too, which you can use to change some of the settings. Don't really know anything about this stuff, but it looks like a decent half way house between the SAFC and proper ECUs.
Adam W
I've got a copy of the software Chris, email me if you want it. AFAIK it's a fully functional version, obviously there is some stuff that you can't do without hooking it up to an E-manage though.

Will it e-mail, bearing in mind i only have a slowish ISDN line, so anything over 10 megs is a bit impractical? If it is smallish please send to: [email protected] Thanks.
