newbiematt
Morning people, This morning I had a problem where the speedo needle stuck at 40mph, when I clearly was doing more than that. So I pulled over and tapped the face of the dial until it returned to 0mph, set off again and it was OK. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and should I be looking in the parts for sale section for a new speedo??? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, Matt
supRo
Do you have a speedo converter/de-limiter fitted as sometimes these play up. I would advise to take it to Thor who are in Wawickshire (Kenilworth) who have sorted loadsa speedo problems.
SimonB
Have you got non-standard dials? Mine did this when I fitted my new dials, it was just the dial slightly off centre that was slightly binding on the middle of the needle. I just jiggled it around a bit and that sorted it. newbiematt
It's a J-Spec TT which has been converted to mph, so I'll contact Thor as they're not too far away. Thanks for the help people. Cheers, Matt
