yeah, that was what I was looking at with either one, adding water injection

I mean that the FMIC root is the cheaper option, when you combone the C/W SMIC with a hard pipe kit which achives the same as just having an FMIC as they come with all the pipe work,

That'd have to be some hardpipe kit! CWs IC is £550 isn't it? Whereas a FMIC is ~£1000.

I'm seriously thinking about buying a Blitz LM FMIC from Japan. Takakaira do them for 128,000 yen + 30,000 shipping = approx £850, plus import duty and VAT should bring it to around £1000-1050 I think. Cheaper than suppliers here.:) Looks like a quality bit of kit too.

Dude:flame Dev

dont you have a aftermarket rad with electric fans?

i am still on stock rad and viscose fan and no overheating here too. theres a lot of you have to do it this way and buy this part in the tuning industry. i got sucked in wanting to buy named items. when i bet you could fabricate a lot of parts yourself too.

just have to look at ian with the mk2 cortina with lots of home made parts for his car. when you see some of the parts you could make them yourself if you can be botherd.

Do the Math again mon petite

thats gonna be approx £1200 - unless your yen rate is better than the Bank of England!

Is that to your door or the airport? Check these things out!

Takakeira are one of the most expensive suppliers and very unlikely that they will beat prices here

Also - our FMIC kit is approcx £925 including polished piping - so you dont have to pay a firtune for a name:thumbs:

xe.com are different to what banks charges.

when i got my tc from america i got charged $1000 for part $120 for shipping

then had to pay import duty of 2% not 5-10%

also had to pay vat at 17.5% and had to pay £25 to send money to america in a bank wire charge and had to pay $18 for the american side too.

turns out when part came to england they charged me vat and import duty on the postage costs too. did not think they could do that but they did.

there will be ways round things if you know what you doing. i thought i would take a chance buying from abroad rather than going through a third party. you live and learn. only bought 2 items from takira and they have been great and worked out cheaper than i could get of a tuners here.

somethings are worth buying here other things worth taking a chance.

we pay enough on vat in rip off britain so if you can save a few quid off net im all for it.

would not touch suprafourms though

powerhouse racing seem ok and mvp seem to have an ok name, just they dont take credit cards so its more messing about. takaira take credit cards and is so easy to order things. pity they dont have many things worth buying
