michael
Many new members don't get the bread thing... to clarify and give a post for people to refer to in the future.... Anyone can join a forum, download a few pics from the internet and play "I have a car and I look like this" but in order to ensure they are real, and inject some comedy into life, it's often requested that they hold something specific up in the pic, bread tends to be a favourite as it's not the sort of thing you catch people holding normally It's like a kidknapper providing a pic with a daily paper I guess. Example of an unacceptable and acceptable 'this is me' pictures attached. So there you have it, not a forum rule, certainly not serious and highly unlikely to be followed by anyone signing up - a challenge to try though (photos stolen from IMOC-UK - they are part of a thread where a chap with a pink car tries to prove how great he is by posting pics of his 'girlfriend' - here and here for reference)
