peter richards Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 hi , this question seems to be coming up a lot , ive developed new gas struts for the tailgate , but not for the bonnet . i dont know of anyone who has them , but i think its a pita to fit other ones off maybe other cars ,my mkiii had them fitted as standard , but not the mkiv , maybe because the bonnet is aluminium, the struts might be to strong for a light bonnet , im not sure Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I bought some for my MK2 Golf! he he Maybe if i buy the same kit... hmmm could do.. one screw is a m8 10mm head, so that would bolt on the wing... the other is a self tapper so could drill into the side of the bonnet and fit it there..
