HKS Exhaust

HKS exhausts all have mild steel pipework with stainless back boxes, why I never got one, id go for a full stainless system like the Blitz NUR Spec, will last a lot lot longer. When I was looking at exhausts for mine, went to a garage and they had an HKS and Blitz exhaust on the floor, both been on a Supra for 6 months from new. The HKS looked tatty and rusty while the Blitz still looked almost new..!

I have a super dragger on mine. The back Box is fine, still shiney in places even, and the tip is still in perfect condition. But the pipe is riddled with holes. Trying to get it repaired (new section of pipe fitted) rather than buy a whole new one.

Have had a Dragger for about 4 years - transferrred it from one sup to another as I liked the low profile sound so much.

I've now gone single and it sounds awesome.

Depends on what driving your doing... I hate the drone some of the other exhausts have - the Dragger is superb on motorways ...

I'll be looking for another when mine eventually gives up... or maybe an Apexi N1

Best bet is to see if someone near can take you out... if you are or are going full decat you need to find out what the noise is like...

I have the HKS super dragger with a full decat and to be honest am looking for something a bit louder. I think it looks great and suits the car well and as others have said it doesnt drone at all.

Are you looking to buy new or possibly second hand?

I've had my HKS super dragger 2 fitted for 3 years now and not one spec of rust on it.It's just like the day bought it.

Same here.

Mine came with various 'performance' tat attached to the car (not hardcore tat but still garbage, irritating since I had to sell them and replace with original items)

The dragger2 is the only aftermarket part that I've kept. It's good.

My super dragger was the one failure I had when I went to the Nurburgring. The rear most hanger (just in front of the back box) tore-out from the pipe.

If I wanted the dogs danglies of exhausts, I would go to Haywood and Scott and get one custom made. Would probably still work out cheeper than some of the "off the shelf" systems I see on various traders websites.
