TTC with DSBC

Hi all,

I've been looking over a few descriptions of the hose ttc mod and thought about giving it a go. I have a dsbc installed and wondered if this interfered with the hose mods made to the front actuator? I have to be honest and say I haven't been out to the car this morning and had a good look to check.

Anyone got the hose ttc mod done with dsbc fitted?

Also is this hose method recommended or does it put too much strain on the actuators and should i investigate the swithable elec method?

Thanks guys

its all much of a muchness, the instructions on mkiv.com have a wire open method which doesnt rely on pressurising the system.

if you know that your pressure tank is working as it should then all you need to do is take the disconnect the pressure line going into the IAVC VSV and connect it directly to the IAVC Actuator, then disconnect the pressure line to the EGCV VSV and connect it directly to the EGVC Actuator, there you have it, TTC..

you could always use one way Check Valves instead which will kinda force the Actuators open preventing the pressure in the actuators from escaping.

have you left it with the hose mod or fix actuators open with some tie wire as per mkiv.com?

im running with the hose method (have been for quite a while), but i start ripping all the sequential stuff off next week. i have to repressurise every now and again, so long term wires would b better
