Going to CW's next week for full decat so would like a boost gauge.

Can anyone recommed a good 52mm mechanical version that may also be available in silver to match my dial surrounds. I hope to locate it where the clock is currently.

Thanks in advance

Rich

I have a nice 52mm Greddy, which I think is very clean looking.

If I were to do it again though (with a little bit more money) I would get one with peak hold. This means going to a 60mm, but that can go in the place of one of the vents.

TBH though, the ideal is one with hold *and* to have it on the pillar. I find it almost impossible to read the gauge in the clock location. Taking your eyes off the road at 1.2 Bar is interesting ! I always need a friend to read my gauge when I'm testing.

Either pillar or peak hold would sort my (and your potential) problem out. All imho of course.............

Yeah, so I would go Apexi 60mm Peak hold on the pillar. Or...If you're really flash (or flush) the defi link system. Do a search for defi.

i have the defi link meter gauge. the best by far.

you do have to buy the control unit though, you can link up to 7 gauges, wicked.

i fitted mine next to the clock where the air vent was. supa fit.

i installed the gauge so that it rotates just like the vent, cool!!

see pic....

i hunted high and low to get the best price, and i got the best deal from http://www.scoobymania.co.uk

Thanks

i did not want to put a gauge in where the clock goes, not because i want to see the time, but purely because the ones i have seen fitted somehow dont look right, there not flush fitting, stick out from the dash.

heres a pic of the Defi Link Display.

the reason for this was cos my passengers could not see the speedo without leaning right over, which kinda looks odd, if you know what i mean.
