DannoSupra
Greddy FMIC is cheaper then the SMIC...why? Is it best to go for the SMIC, im not going to get massive amount of power out of the sup, because i have to do a lot o driving everyday. BUT, i am looking into getting a Bomex Kit, so... do i go for the Cheaper FMIC for the looks with the Bomex? or go for the SMIC?

SupraJames
FMIC will look sweet behind a Bomex, does not matter how much power you are running, better cooling will help any engine run much better..!

Homer
Remember that an FMIC will limit the flow to your rad and A/C system, be sure those are in excellent condition before installing an FMIC. If you have no plans to go 'single' then there's really no point having an FMIC. Just go for a Chris Wilson uprated side mount (Its a bit cheaper than a good FMIC). It will have much better flow without restricting the rad, a/c and PAS cooling.

RedM
Was having a similar conversation about this yesterday. Can't see the point of an FMIC personally unless you are going for uber power. They look nice though and hey, if the big boys have them....
JohnA
A (liquid-based) chargecooler might be a better choice, perhaps leaving the SMIC in place (if it is in decent condition) It would be easier to plumb without making a mess with airflow through the rads, it could just replace part of the straight SMIC piping underneath. The water rad could be fitted to the passenger-side intake, so any heat would be away from the engine bay. It wouldn't need to be too heavy-duty because most of the work will have been done already by the SMIC. With minimal disruption it would add extra heat-extraction with minimal pressure drop. Chargecooler (water/air) heat exchangers are 4 times more effective than air/air cores. Food for thought.

Martin, are these fans which you could put between the FMIC and the rad..? if so how many would you recommend and what sort of money are they..?
