AlanM
Hi there My supra has not been used for a while Car been started, run to temp regularly. Started it last Sunday , ran for 20 mins no prob. As I am now ready to drive again (eye problem fixed - yahoo) started it on Thursday, it ran for about 10 -15 secs and cut out/stalled it/it stopped. Would noot restart, just churning over not a cough, misfire, backfire, nothing. Charged battery tried again, still same. Was at a race meeting today and one of the drivers was asking where the supra was and I told him the story. He reckons it is the iridium plugs which are fouled and he says I would be wasting my time trying to clean them as they will not clean. Any comments on this, don't mind buying new plugs to cure the problem but would be a bit lost then on what to do if problem persisted? tbourner
Was there lots of black smoke when you started it? Mine did that a while ago and a fresh batch of fuel seemed to cure it!!
