Guest Garfy
ive looked at 4 supras now without the active spoiler fitted, All had the wiring looms. You must be overlooking somthing colsoop no some really don't, I looked for ages for mine, its at the front (behind the Drivers side headlight) but nothing behind the dash, I even checked it against the car it came of, and followed the loom back to where it should have come out, and nothing, it seems some have it and some don't
colsoop
There isn't all that many places it could be, i took all the dash panels off i dropped the diagnostic cover below the steering wheel and also pulled the carpet away from the centre console and still no joy. So unless it is really simple (cut this splice that) then i think i will take it off set it in to the always down position and chance any speed bumps i meet. Guest Garfy
its easy enough to wire it up in manual mode, and worth doing, it really is low in the down position, I will help you if you have any problems

Pot
I'm glad to hear it's not that tricky to set up in manual mode, I'm looking at a spoiler myself (Without the ECU), and already found that wiring diagram tonight, doesn't look too tricky... (He says now!!) If I buy it, be prepared for me to have some headaches, I hope someone'll be able to help!...

Well not nothing the motor clicks but doesn't do anything else
Pot
Something I just thought of, what type of wire are you using?... I'm guessing I won't need anything as thick as the earth for an amp, or do I?...
AndrewOW
Hi Garfy. I was thinking of doing this mod for my car as well. I'm also in Eastbourne. Any chance you could help me sort mine out at some point? You'll have to let me know what I will need to get to make it all work tho. I am hoping that colsoop will eventually be producing some stainless steel active spoiler covers, which would look great with a manually activating spoiler, don't you think? Cheers for any input. Guest Garfy
Sorry to revise an old thread, but I've now developed a box of tricks that does this manual mode modification to cars that already have the loom, i.e. those of you that already have the spoiler but want it to work in a manual mode. PM me for details, I can also do a version for those of you without the loom Colsoop - I'm sorry I didn't notice your post all that time ago, I suspect the two switch wires were back to front, I had the same problem with mine, either that or the two motor wires, try it again but swap them over

Guest Garfy
Just to keep you all in the picture with this, I now have full fitting instructions, and I am now selling the Manual Controllers on Ebay, if anyone from the club wants one let me know and I'll do it for a lower price. Also, dont forget I can do complete looms if your car doesn't have the original spoiler loom Many thanks Garath http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260366804773

Por2geezSupra
Does anyone know what pins 1 and 2 on the switch connector are wired to? Are they for illumination so switched 12v? Not mentioned on any diagrams..
