Cheers, I might have a crack at it, what the worst that can happen why isn't anything on the soop straight forward, on most cars changing plugs is a 15 min job! Mike M Posted March 18, 2006 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Managed mine without touching the throttle body, took a little time as the 2 plugs in the middle need a socket extension that can pivot and go on at an angle. Mike M Posted March 18, 2006 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Plenty practise changing the plugs on my 73 beetle and it has twin carbs making it even more awkward. I think it took about an hour, once i unclipped all the cable holders it wasn't too bad but getting the HT leads out the middle def strained the finger tips.
