Just Had Supra On Dyno For First Time..

front cooler,full decat, apexi system, fcd, 1.3.bar boost. and optimax.

BUT, when i got it as a fresh import, there were sgns it had had more

bits fitted and took off, so i could have missed bits that are still on.

ie injectors n map work.

That doesn't look right at all, its spooling up far too late, you should see the power increase rapidly from around 4200rpm. A dyno with a sotck turbo'd car running 1.3 bar should look like the the pic below. Is it on stock turbos?

 

Edit: Did you say you ARE fitting a single, or you have ALREADY fitted a single?

That peak hp seems late too it doesn't reach peak until 6400rpm, what's peak hp on stock cams and tubos normally? Just comparing it to mine running i256/e264 cams and stock turbos (in parallel) and I get max power at 4900-5000rpm.

My peak is around 6800 rpm but I'm not on stock.

Didnt get whp, but im gonna try and get it back on today.

as i only nipped it in for a bhp figure before i stripped it.

Ive not seen a graph like that, so im glad you guys are as curious as me.

has any one got a graph with simular spec to mine to compare it and show the guy.

Full decat

RSR cat-back

1.15bar

FMIC

Aeromotive fpr

 

I've done a few dyno's since buying the car and at various stages of modding, but the overall shape of the graph and where the 2nd turbo spools have never changed.

Fancy enough to allow massive reversion up until 5500rpm.

 

The designers didn't adopt a 'zero overlap' policy by accident you know.

If you don't fit a single, std cams are a pretty good compromise.

 

This could also be in TTC mode as well, it's hard to get such a skewed torque curve otherwise:blink:
