rik
I downloaded this last night, and it sure is interesting. I can see my car out side my house and my van outside my mums!!! I recently upgraded my graphics card and prosessor, google earth wouldn't run on my old set up. If you look over Santa Pod, there's an event on. Loads of cars queing up to do their run, and looks like something doing a U-turn at 1/8th mile.

Rob
I can see my Supra and Land Rover in the drive of my old house. Is there any way of finding out when the photos were collected as I want to find the Audi but I reckon that's in a non-detailed area like Bluewater. Ian R
Would be cool if we could upload Kmz files so we can post links
Rob
Silverstone was deserted, but Brands was very full, with one red car on track and what looks like a white van down through dingly dell.
Thorin
There's no difference in the map data between the different google earth versions (i.e. plus/pro etc.), you just get additional features like being able to import XML data etc. I think the maps (well most of them) are from about 3 years ago, and in the case of my old work I'd say around 10am (because I'd gotten my arse out of bed to get in to work but the car park still wasn't full yet). RedM
3 years? You can clearly see our old Volvo on our driveway and we've been hear 18 months.
Sub_Culture
Depends when your 'part of the world' was photographed, then. I think its about 3 years old as well.... at least for the bulk of Surrey. I think its one of the best things you can get from the internet, absolutely love it! For interest, there is also a GoogleMoon and GoogleMars. Dont expect to see quite so many cars and houses though!
