chrisrocks
I`m just about to fit some new 550 injectors to my car and will obviously need a fuel computer to run these, also intend to move over to a small single early next year so would like something that`ll meet my needs. I currently have an old style Apexi AFC ( came with the car never used it ) http://www.chrisrocks101.vispa.com/supra/afc1.jpg should I sell this....and get an AFC1 http://www.chrisrocks101.vispa.com/supra/afc2.jpg or spend a few more pennies and get an AFCII http://www.chrisrocks101.vispa.com/supra/afc3.jpg ????? I`m not really bothered with glitz and showy gizmos...I just want something that`s going to work and that I won`t have to constantly alter. anyone any experience with any of the above ?? thanks Chris. Adam W
I've run the SAFCI and II on mine, the main difference is that there are more rpm points to adjust on the SAFCII, ie you can tweak the fuel curve in 12 (I think) different places and the SAFC interpolates between them, whereas with the SAFCI you only have eight points. Both do a great job though, I like them because you have a low and hi throttle map so you don't have to worry about them messing with your closed loop settings. Few more gadgets on the SAFCII as well but nothing particularly useful IIRC. The buttons are far nicer to use on the SAFCI though

Adam W
Yes, I think you can switch between two maps. No idea why you would want to though.
