Rob Moch
hi all, i have noticed that there has been yet another alarm ecu problem, looks like syed has got problems this time. Recentley i have had the same problem but i got in touch with scorpion direct who made the origional uk alarms. They said to me that the alarm wasn't buggered but the ecu was out of sync with the key fob due to the battery going flat and the remedy was send them the ecu and key fobs and for £23+vat they would re programme it which i did and they returned it a week later. While talking to them on the phone their technical departmemt said that it was very very rare that the alarm ecu actualy gets fried. 99% of the time it was a simple reprogramme. hope this saves some of you who get in this situation heading stright to toyota main dealers and possible wasting money.
