mikeyb10supra
I think this is fine for a mechanical gauge but mine has a peak hold and warning meter built in, so I think I need a permanent live??
Suprasteve
when wiring in my electronic boost controller (which requires a perminent live) i used the wires from my stereo - works fine. However for my mechanical boost gauge i used a wire from the clock so the gauge lights out when you switch on the headlights, also it can be dimed and brightened the same as everything else on the dash board. hope this helps...
