Faye
Sadly we had to have Sid our chinchilla put down last week..... .... on Saturday we picked up Al and Bob from the RSPCA (they'd been left without their sandbaths so their fur was in a terrible state). According to the RSPCA Al is 10mths old, but we reckon he's closer to 3mths given his size. Bob is meant to be 3 years old. Anyway, here they are http://www.toplessdriver.com/gallery/albums/chins/SUC30216.sized.jpg Al is the one on the left http://www.toplessdriver.com/gallery/albums/chins/SUC30219.sized.jpg Al and Bob again http://www.toplessdriver.com/gallery/albums/chins/SUC30221.sized.jpg Al http://www.toplessdriver.com/gallery/albums/chins/SUC30222.sized.jpg Bob

geoffvalenti
Chinchillas are great We've still got 4, but they're all pretty old now so unlikely to breed anymore. Our first one, Holley, (named after the carburettor, her mate was called 6 pak ) lived until she was 19!

Faye
They are gorgeous. Any reasons for the names? Having a Godfather moment Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. Except you can't shout "Robert stop eating the skirting board!" easily, so he became Bob. Which is better than Marlon which we were originally planning

Although i think Marlon is a cute name too - if you can call him (in that film) cute.
Faye
Are they shagging in the first pic? Its Vin our gay gerbil that does that (the others gerbils are so scared of him) not the chins. Just had them out for a run, god we're both shattered, we are now working up what needs MDF defences from inquisitive teeth.
