Lucifer
Yes I had done this last year and the best tubing I could find was 5" drain pipe from B&Q. Painded it Blue and then used a flat arcrlic base, and welded it to the tube. Hope this helps.
Guest Terry S
Burt I did one of these about 5 years ago, worked well, but there are other alternatives now.

b_have
I use a feed from one of the Bomex vents directed to the compressor hsg. My K&N is mounted where the old SMIC was, so breaths cold air. (you can just see the white pipework in the pic.)

sarjo
Burt - got this done in the car I'm picking up tomorrow. Its a bugger to seal apparantly and if not done right will cause condensation in the headlight.
bromy
if you have any tips they are most wecome. Incorporate it into the tiled wall and it could make a handy serving hatch for passing hot beverages to a loved one

JohnA
You can pass beercans through that (to anyone who resides in the engine bay perhaps)
bromy
You can pass beercans through that (to anyone who resides in the engine bay perhaps) or cheese for the rats:taped:
