JohnA
AA and the like: I don't think so. They are more clueless than you are - when it comes to cars like this one (another member paid to be told that the roof needed straightening up!) I'd only trust an experienced RX7 owner to look over it. Try one from their club. Quite a few 'gotchas' with these cars, you don't want to buy a lemon. Digsy
I agree with John here. When I looked intot he details of AA and RAC inspections there was more small print covering what they would not look at than what they would. Also (unless things have changed) if they get things wrong you have no comeback on them whatsoever. As already said, get someone who knows RX's to go with you. jamesmark
if its not had its re build i personally would be reluctant to buy it, have you any idea how much an engine rebuild costs on one of those things, my mate gary rebuilt his and put it this way he did not get much change from £3500 and he never upgraded anything, the rx7 engine is something that needs ot be done by an rx7 expert
shaf
yeah i know a standard rebuild will cost me about 3k average, 2k if you do it on the cheap or a lot more if you go single etc
