SuperSupra
In the last few days I've experienced some 'rubbing' sound when braking, but only for a while when it's cold, it seems louder today than it was yesterday. I'm probably being a retard here but does this mean it's time for new pads or is it something else? Please excuse my lack of knowledge about this, I'm a numb nuts when it comes to stuff like this! TrickTT
Might be worth a strip down anyway. Have a look at the pads and if they're ok give the whole lot a good clean, new copperslip on the back of the pads and a bit of lube on the slides and pistons. Road salt plays havoc with brakes. SuperSupra
Thanks mate, probably worth a trip to someone who's a tad more knowledgable than me then! Probably CW as he's only 25 mins away from me. If you're reading this Chris then be prepared for a phone call shortly! I just wouldn't trust myself stripping down the brakes and stuff
