Lazarus
My questions would be why does it have pre-facelift wings and front bumper/indicators on a 2001 car? Front end stack maybe? I think this car has been discussed before.

Supragal
OK, so it's had a crash... if it's been repaired and it's all declared I don't get the fuss? Worth knowing but it doesn't mean it's no good and will never be ever again, there are plenty of cars that have had prangs. I would use it to reduce the price! My own supra was a write off, but i'd only buy one to repair myself. That way you know exactly what the damage was and that its been repaired properly. Like rosie says, its a great opportunity to haggle down the price!
psymon
why if 01 it can't be registered, im stupid:D

I wouldn't have a problem with buying a properly repaired car, but when you see a car that is quite obviously a late model, repaired with parts from an earlier model (poorly, judging by the panel gaps) you've got to ask yourself "is it worth £21K?", (as thats what they've advertised it as). Also, as said earlier, this is a 2001 car, it can't be registered in the UK unless Bonsai have managed to get a model report (or the rules have changed?), so that makes it a rather expensive "static display" car. I'm guessing the actual worth of this car is far below what Bonsai would be prepared to accept (I'm guessing here as I obviously don't know what they paid for it at auction)

Lazarus
why if 01 it can't be registered, im stupid:D Its to do with model reports that don't exist for late model cars. (what makes it confusing is there are a number of late model cars that were imported and registered before these new rules came out).
whitesupratt
My Supe was a front ender, i hit a lamp post, but got a new front end, you would never know, and its looks perfect on the surface and underneath. If i can tell the repair had been done well and properly, id still buy one. hasnt put me off my own Supe.

Yeah seen the pics of yours when it was smashed, and the pics now look good, But you repaired like for like, surley this one is a little different. Its a 2001, That has been repaired using pre 96 parts, Sounds like a repair on the cheap to me, I mean how hard or expensive would it have been to smooth the holes over, or cut the holes out for the facelft indicators in the bumper. Even the indicators used are wrong.. For a car this expensive it should have been done right, Only a enthusiast would buy this for 21k and because of the cheap repair no-one will or at a reduced price.. bet if it was done with correct parts weed all be saying 'Go for it'. Oh yeah and another thing who puts OEM spats on and not the skirts, They prob got damaged in the smash.. More corners cut... IMO obviously
