Supra_Chick
Hello im looking at getting 19" rims for my car but im not sure what size is best for the rear... someone said to go for 265 40 19 rear and 235 35 19 on the front, but im finding it hard getting that size rear. What size would you say is best? jen
Ian W
rear should be 265/30/19 jen. (fronts seem okay...could go with a 30 or a 35 profile on the front)

Ouch got me
scuse me buttin in, I would also like 19's but have heard that the handling suffers, dose it really make that much difference? also will it make much difference to ride hight? also would 285's give better traction? (remember stock width is only 245). with 19s i think the handling would suffer, 17s would be best but i have 18s as a compromise (always stick as close to stock offset as possible though). hope this helps. Ian W
no jen, 265s sound good to me but it all depends on whether they'll fit onto the wheel safely or not (am fairly sure they will though). have a search for tyres as per my original post, maybe try Ibrar? Ian W
for a 265 you'll need at least a 9j, jen. i've got 8.5j's and wouldn't go any wider than a 255 tyre.
