Not supposed to be childish.. Just keeping it real

I understand that people get attached to animals, Fine Ive had 2 dogs, but cats get run over ALL THE TIME Ive seen it happen about 15 times in my life.

The owner will know after a couple of days that its dead.. Most know if it decides not to turn up for its food. Its the price you pay for having an animal that is semi stray.

Not necessarily, one of our cats goes walk about every now and again in the summer. The first time it happened we thought he was dead after three days, he turned up on the forth day. We have just come to accept that he will head off into the woods in the hot weather and he may not be back for almost a week. At this time of year he hardly goes out at all.

You said “ Put it in the bin”

It's so nice that you don't give a toss about it's owner!

You obviously don't know what it's like to really care about animals.

More than likely the owner won't live too far away.

When an animal goes missing it's horrible for the owner not knowing what's happened. .

They will appreciate any effort that’s made to return their pet even if had died.

Sorry if I offended some of you.. Not really meant to be as harsh as it sounded. If it had a colar with a number or a name on it obviously Id do something about it

The owner can then pick it up and arrange for all the friends and family to be there for its cremation and ash scattering after a touching serman..

Chips... yeah, my sisters cat went missing, very unusual, she called her vet to ask if he had been brought it, was assured not. ANother day passed so she rang the microchip company direct "yes I'm afraid he was run over, your vet has him"

And they had had him all along! Nice to know the system works!

No problem, I'm sometimes a little sensitive when it comes to animals.:)

rang RSPCA up this morning would you belive a big city like LEEDS dont have a place.had to ring up bradford. well they were not intrested just said i have to ring council up. rang the council up they said its not there department and they said its the highways. they rang me back 1 hour later and said that if its on your property then its for you to deal with. but woman said if i put the box outside garden they will come pick it up in next 24 hours.

its like it at work when you ask w/house people to do anything, all you get is "its not my job"

im not a pet lover but would not like to see one in pain.
