MONKEYmark
hi just found a dead black cat under my supra. only found it as i was doing a couple of bits and was going to put something under car.thought it was alive so was making some noise to get it from under car. i heard a cat had been knocked over a couple of days ago and must have ran off and got under car. rang council to come and remove it but they closed till monday. i got it out from under car and put it in a black bag and inside a box. will rspca come out to collect it.if it has been chipped will they check it and inform owners it has been killed. i dont like cats but dont like to see animals in pain. Guest gzaerojon
i've hit a couple of cats before, nothing i could do on both times. they just leg it across the rd right at the last moment, could never find them either, i think they just run off but i'd like to think they're ok. wasn't after one of jazz1s rats was it
MONKEYmark
i felt bad picking it up with pitch fork and putting in a bag then in a box. will ring up monday morning.did not see a collar but was not looking.poor cat went under supra to die.was stiff as a board. i once was booting it going up slip road going onto motorway in supra and something ran out it went under car and made me cringe thinking i ran something over. i also ran over a baby pidgeon when i was doing a 3 point turn at work.i felt bad then as i did not see it.mate told me. MARTIN R
I would rather pay and get the cat to the vet, than keep it at mine. Would feel like the right thing to do
Steviekid
Mark, ring a local vets practice up they will have someone there on a sunday to take it off your hands Your local practices may be different but most of us are emergency on call only on Sundays. I wouldn't be overly bothered but a couple of my bosses would be less than impressed at being called out to put a cat in the freezer. Ian R
Shame for the poor cat. My "specialist subject" is Rabbits driving to work at night on the country roads I have come to realise that swerving out of the way doesn't help as the stupid animals just follow. I now just drive at them and actually hit less. Well I think less a a don't here the fud with the radio turned up

merckx
Obviously dont have animals that you care about then do we!, would have thought they will check the body for a chip and let the owners know I agree, you've got to remember that there might be a concerned owner out there who's lost their cat. It would be nice if some effort was made to trace them.

TRD3000GT
If that's all you can say then don't bother next time. Very childish! Not supposed to be childish.. Just keeping it real I understand that people get attached to animals, Fine Ive had 2 dogs, but cats get run over ALL THE TIME Ive seen it happen about 15 times in my life. The owner will know after a couple of days that its dead.. Most know if it decides not to turn up for its food. Its the price you pay for having an animal that is semi stray.
