whitesupratt
the last few times that I have cleaned my car, I seem to have huge problems getting me wheels clean! I have stock silver 16's, and they appear just dirty with brake dust as usual, but you can scrub them, wipe them, sponge them with almost any auotglym product, and the stains just dont come off! Is almost like an oiley substance (fronts are worse, rears not too bad), if you get kitchen towl for example, it just smears it about bit, but most of it make is appear like a black speckled, silver wheel! I i havent tried wonder wheels or any strong acid type product! Any ideas?
peter richards
hi mate , the stuff i use for the valeting is an acid but i dilute it down . done a focus in the week similar to your problem , takes a bit of scrubbing with a small brush but it comes off , just make sure you give it a good rinse after . toyotasuprauk
I could do with a really good product but at the moment I just use t cut then wax them afterwards and it makes a huge difference. Water or jet washing them does nothing.

sarjo
My really dirty Mondeo wheels came up sparkling with CIF spray cleaner. Had to rinse off well but it really shifted the grime & oil.
